I really enjoyed the found family trope and the friends to lovers trope that's what enticed me to this book to begin with. However, I found this book to be quite disappointing. As the book progresses, Leah went on to heal herself which was very believable, however Eli was just so obsessive over his ex it just got irritating after a while and quite nauseating. I didn't really notice their chemistry or their banter. That just didn't do it for me. I did enjoy the friend group that made up for it.

Thanks to NetGalley for an advanced in exchange for an honest review as always, all words are my own.

Obsessed. Please. Come on. Eli is an icon. ICON. Our main girly Leah? Also pretty good, actually. A classic hallmark movie in a book. Kind of sad that
Spoilerthe only wedding in here WASN'T Eli and Leah. No offense to Veronica or Victoria and the Italian guy buy I don't care about y'all. But also I kind of take it back I'm kind of glad they don't get married at the end because I thought the ending was really cute actually
However, I immediately want a sequel where they kick you-know-who's ass in court and then maybe a cute double wedding?!?!!?!?!?!?!??!? Anyways, love love love love

Rom-Coms are my secret obsession - I LOVE THEM, love reading them, watching them, etc. Which is wild because they couldn't be anymore different from my normal personality. The Rom-Com Agenda is filled with the perfect tropes - friends to lovers and found family (my own personal favorites!). This one has everything you want in a rom-com: a main character makeover, heartbreak, and then ultimately, realizing what he wanted is right in front of him all along! I really enjoyed the story, but the pacing was a tad off for me - it was hard to become interested in the beginning, but that is solved towards the end of the book when the pacing picks up.

MML is not the vibe for how he's acting over the breakup with the woman who isn't the FML. Half this heartbreak would have sufficed lol
