Forced proximity, grumpy meets sunshine romance. Both main characters have unresolved issues from previous trauma which make relationships difficult. At the same time, the female lead is dealing with harassment from a coworker and the male lead is addressing the estranged relationship with his younger sister. I felt that they communicated well with only some hesitation in revealing their pasts which is better than most romance novels that I've read. I also thought that they each maturely confronted their individual problems to make way for a relationship.
