I loved this book from start to finish and I’m not going to lie, when it came to the epilogue I dragged it it as much as I could because I didn’t want it to end. Like the rest of the books in this amazing shifter series, you are pulled in from the first page and captured until the very last. Danny has been a firm favourite of mine since the first book. So obviously in this book I was kind of distraught with what happened to him.

Without giving too much away, the story starts with Mark and Laura hooking up in a one night stand. Which neither of them remembers. Despite the situation, neither of them want to take things further. And yet, they can’t stop thinking about the other. Even though they fit each other perfectly, they both are too stubborn. That is until Mark makes a proposition which leads them into something that they can’t deny any longer.

Meanwhile Mark finds himself in charge of the entire team due to Danny’s incident. He’s also given a job opportunity from General Lancaster. So not only is his mind full of Laura, but also keeping the team safe.

I love this entire series. And I seriously can’t wait for the next book, The Peacemaker to be released! I guarantee anyone who is starting these books will not be disappointed. It’s packed with action, humour and hotness! What more could you ask for?!

This is the book that I found the author by. I saw the cover of The Bloodhound when another author shared the release party and I was like its a shifter book I will give it ago as shifter books are my fav.

Mark and Laura came together in an unexpected way with neither of them remembering it happening. These two were constantly at each other and not in a good way. Upon more thought, they embarked on a secret relationship as they didn't expect it to go anywhere. It is fun to see what these two get up to with their fumbling ways as they get closer to forming their own relationship.

I can't wait to read the next chapter in this series, The Peacekeeper.
