incredibly powerful book. If the content of the book wasn't saturated with technical knowledge I would recommend for everyone to read this book. It truthfully goes to show how biases/behaviors that exist within cultures don't populate overnight and simmer through generations. I commend Ms. Washington for compiling all the evidence that probably took tens of years to obtain and collecting accounts from individuals that were effected.

good book, well written. anyone working in medical research should read this. would like to read a new edition of the book since the information is now 20 years old and medicine moves fast
