I give this book a rating of 4.5 stars. It was such a beautifully woven story, and I simply loved all the characters in it. I look forward to reading further on.

I've been meaning to read this series forever--I bought the first book for my hubby for Christmas, expecting him to enjoy it. The day after he read it he came home from the library with the next 8 books. Now we're both working our way through the series. Great fantasy read, much faster than reading something like Wheel of Time or Mistborn, but every bit as interesting! We're really loving these books so far.
