A beautiful book I bought for my 10 month old son. It's a wonderful story that incorporates counting along with beautiful bright pictures. Highly recommend as it's a book that will last for years.

This is a beautiful book! It would not work for a baby time. However, this would be perfect for a preschool storytime about buying groceries. I love this one a lot--hoping to eventually buy a copy for my personal collection.

Board book.  I love Atinuke's books about life in Nigeria.  This sweet board book has a mother and baby boy going to market.  As the mother shops, the baby charms his way into free food from several vendors. Baby samples the food and puts the rest in the basket.  When she wonders why the basket is so heavy, the vendors assure her that they gave baby the food.  As she gets a ride home she frets: "Poor baby! He's not had one single thing to eat!" which is sure to make kids laugh as they saw the food eaten along the way.

I love this story set in an African outdoor market, about a Mama & baby going through their day.

This one on display at the library so I gave it a quick read and was cracking up in the aisle as I read it. Beautifully done

I love this story, with its beautiful illustrations and low-key counting. I would love to see it in a board book format so my little guy could flip through the pages himself.
