I enjoyed this book more than the other reviews. It was fun to read a book by a British author as an American myself. I liked learning the lingo. I enjoyed the pace of the book and really dug in to the “who killed her” aspect. I thought it was well laid out and was actually surprised by the ending.

I initially thought the husband was the killer and was dead set on him. Finding out it was Gaby all along was a big shock to me!

. It was interesting how Jack delved into the evidence with Gaby and I was rooting for them to have a spark. 
I would really not compare this to Gone Girl but it is a good read and has a lot of twists along the way!
