A absolutely triggering but emotional masterpiece. Not a book you should read when you're in a bad headspace, but one that everyone should read. 5 stars. And fuck The Creator, Narrcisists, and Nickelodeon.

This book lives to its hype! I listened to the audiobook, which was read by Jennette McCurdy herself, and it's a game changer!!! You can feel her emotions (or emotionless regard) towards each topic she discusses. It feels like a friend who is telling you about their life story and traumas. Most definitely recommend the audiobook! TW: eating disorders,  childhood trauma, abuse and more. Read/Listen with care.

This book was an absolutely brutal look at childhood abuse, eating disorder development and recovery, and being a child star. Jenette McCurdy has a great voice, unique, funny asides throughout some really awful stories.
