Meik Wiking delivered yet again! Reading his works is a hyggeligt activity in itself - I loved the practical application and ideas for incorporating Hygge into the space and place we physically occupy. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a cozy, inspiring read!

I just love books about how other cultures live. The pictures were unnecessary in this, but I loved the stuff about urban planning.

Lots of good tidbits and beautiful pictures. This book encouraged me to think a bit more critically about the things—from functional items to decor—I bring into my home. I was left wanting a bit more in terms of actual design advice, but I still got a lot from this book and am looking forward to doing more research on the concept of Hygge. It also gave me some really great ideas for utilizing our backyard/outdoor space in effective ways!

Very enjoyable read, popping across my path just as moving into a new apartment! Wiking is OBSESSED with Hygge, and makes the reader a little obsessed too lol. Community, great lighting, and comfort [foods]. Sprinkled with his sense of humor, sharing this book by reading it out loud with a loved one made for a truly Hygge experience.
