This book was kind of awesome--I read in two days. Totally engrossing and hell of fast-paced. Remarkably violent, but not in anyway gratuitous. Way fun YA speculative fiction.

I have mixed feelings about this one, and kept waffling between three and four stars. On the one hand, it was a page-turner, but on the other hand, it really ends up being little more than an action book in the end, without genuinely deep or interesting characters.

Best sci-fi book of all time. Divergent is a close second, but the fact that the movie series goes with the book makes it a million times better.

I really, really enjoyed this book. I'm eager to read the second and third, but the remaining gift card balance in my BN.com account is going for Jennifer Weiner's new book which is pre-ordered and comes out on Tuesday. :)

But I"m definitely eager to finish the series!!
