Truth be told, I skimmed a lot while reading this book. Things got really interesting in the last 3?4? chapters, then we had an awkward, abrupt end. Like WTH?
I want to know the villain but I don’t know if that will be enough of an incentive for me to stick with this series. Unfortunately, I can’t quite pinpoint why I have failed to click with this writing so I could say why I’m not feeling it. Is it the relationship angst in this 2nd trilogy? The all-round secrets? The villain that’s “more” than Lucifer and a couple of archangels……really? Who can that even be?

Oh wow, I did not see some of the twists and tragic events coming for this group. Tilly really is developing into a clearer character. Valor, Bishop, Baz, & Drake have a lot of tough choices. TW/18+

Holy crap I don't know where to start I mean WOW that ending OMG It literally slayed me I am crying right now.......I couldn't put this book down. This author just keeps coming and coming and then wham what the hell just happened Oh you just read an amazing book and can't wait to start the next that's what!!
