Giving us more background into another character in the Alexis Carew Series, this story tells us how an honest young man begins his path down the road to becoming a pirate! The only negative I can find with the books in this series is that they each have a last page. And then my misery begins. I seriously love these characters and miss them when the books end! Thankfully, I can return to them. The audio versions are brilliantly narrated by Elizabeth Klett, who truly brings these story to life. I'd give the entire series 10 stars, if I could!

Fun back story ... best read after Little Ships per the Author.
I read this out of storyline order mainly because I needed a short read and it was already downloaded. I was able to follow the plot even though is is about a character that is not in book one and I loved it. The protagonist is young and prone to mischievous conduct. Nonetheless, he captured my heart and he definitely has been Wronged. I highly recommend this series and will begin book 2 soon. It is actually meant to be read with book 3 and you may enjoy it more if you wait to read it. No matter what the order, I hope you enjoy the series as much as I have thus far.
