I love books about writers who are writing books! It is so meta and so much extra work for the author but I love it! This is like 2 books with a book and January the MC has to beat her writers block which the author also had before starting this book. Of course I love the Lake Michigan beach house and small MI town setting.

This is definitely an instant favorite. I love when authors make you fall in love with every character. I loved Gus, January, Shadi, and even Pete! There was not necessarily any twist to this book but I was not sure how the book was gonna end and then finally, I was so satisfied with the conclusion. What I love about Henry is that she gives us even a little more after the “Happily Ever After” and I love it!! I can’t wait to read more of her books!
