I loved the humanity of it all. Humans trying to live in a monster infested world, and August, as one of the monsters, also exploring his humanity. While Kate, as a human wanting to be a monster, also realizing who she is by herself, not only in relation to her cruel father.

I ate this book! Usually I'd need a week to read this book (just because I'm an ass-slow reader) but I really enjoyed this! Even though I was a bit too predictable for me and a few questions left me hanging in the air, it was still an solid book and I hope my questions will be answered in the next one. I freaking adore Victorias writing style, every time I read it, it's a blessing for me!
