Not so incredible from start to finish, but incredible overall.

Many rollercoasters throughout, well-penned characters with reasonable development.

I especially love how the plot and the characters effortlessly switch control and takeover under Larsson's pacing.

It definitely shows the views of females at the time, with every female character being sexualised. It was enticing, but it did also spell out every metaphor and event. There was no room to guess and analyse the mystery.

Men that are so openly feminist are the best!

Tack so mycket Stieg Larson, jag älskar den hör boken.

Ich habe dieses Buch verschlungen, weil ich es nicht aus meinen Händen nehmen konnte!

It started kinda slow and was a bit of a drag but It picked up pace and I guessed
that Harriet is alive
I did not appreciate the excessive descriptive scene of gruesome acts against women but I guess the book is a product of its time.
It's a engaging mystery novel but it was not really extraordinary and the plot didn't surprise me that much.

2.5

The mystery was intriguing. The characters were all gross, mostly unlikeable individuals. Someone mutilates a cat. Lots of women get r*ped and murdered.
Writing it all out like that makes me wonder why I finished this book.
Probably because I needed to know that it ends. And that the most disgusting men get their due.
Probably won’t read the next one.

Enjoyment: 2.5
Educational value: 3
Emotional impact: 2 (this book made me mad)
