I'm sorry, but the way a hug is called the "rechargeable station" in this book was enough for me to stop reading. LMAO, nah, too cringe for me.

Who knew that I would end up wanting to find myself a grumpy fisherman after finishing this book?
I’m not usually one for contemporary romance, but this book had me gripped from start to finish.
The ‘rich girl’ trope is done in a way that, at first Piper annoyed me to death, but in the end I found her character incredibly endearing.
There are moments that made me surprisingly emotional and I absolutely devoured the last 100 pages.
Brendan is an absolute alpha male who loves dirty talk and the spicy scenes were just *chefs kiss*
This was my first Tessa Bailey book, and I was not disappointed at all!
Do yourself a favour and read. This. Book.

Tessa Bailey was onto something with this one!! I really liked the pacing, the spice, and the banter. A great book overall

Was so close to not continue reading it after the first chapter, too much Hollywood and name-dropping, hate that. But they quickly moved on from that.
Started listening but had to switch to reading it, don't know why I didn't like listening to it.
Feels like a rom com movie with too much smut.
Don't understand why the sister moves with her but she's never present.
To many loose threads in the end.
