I really enjoyed this story. I had already read the duology before reading this one. I love the pacing of it, whiles it's quick, it's meaningful and I truly enjoyed Liliths character and world view. A truly strong FMC that is string despite her own chronic illness and for the people she loves.

I absolutely adored The Serpent and the Wings of Night and I couldn’t wait to read this one, it definitely lived up to my expectations!

Lilith has known death since the day she was born, after all her entire town has been slowly dying from a mysterious god-cursed illness. Desperate to find a cure, Lilith turns to Vale, a vampire, with the offering of six roses in exchange for six vials of his blood. But what starts as a simple transaction turns into something more…

I absolutely loved this book, if I’m being honest, my one problem with it was that it was far too short! I loved Lilith, I loved Vale, I loved the pair of them together, I can’t wait to see more of them!

Overall, I really loved this book and I can’t wait to continue on with the series!

It was so cute. You could read this without reading the actual series

I adored this little book so much! I related to Lilith, I loved her struggles with human connection. She is very clearly autistic and I love the representation as an autistic person myself.

I loved the blossoming love between Vale and Lilith and all the little ways he understood her when everyone else did not. Watching their relationship grow was truly something else. I loved these two so much 🖤

It had a satisfying, heart warming ending with a bittersweet tinge. Can’t wait to read more about these two.

The only reason this is not a full 5 star read is the lack of world building, I had a hard time visualizing where this all took place. But the characters and story were great!

Vale: I like her, I like that autistic woman
