Fantastic. An incredible step up from the penguin issue of One Bad Day, and reminiscent of BTAS

Good art. Love the Xmas setting. Freeze is underutilized so anytime he’s around I’m in. Liked the use of his glasses/goggles blocking the eyes and the absent narcissist intellectual husband angle was well done. Probably could have used a longer treatment. Batman dissing on Freeze as a husband was a bit too much.

This is a solid interpretation of Freeze. Not much else to say.

Kid Robin killed it.

This was an improvement on the King/Gerad RIDDLER entry in many ways, except, well... what was the 'One Bad Day'? Riddler was about the villain pushing Batman to kill him, I guess -- though it broke the rule too, by taking place over a period of months. That mimics The Killing Joke, which is what these one-shots are based on. This was a pretty normal Mr. Freeze story, updating his origin from Batman: The Animated Series to be a little bleaker and to give his wife agency. Not bad, but not particularly interesting either.

I am primarily familiar with this universe via other media but I picked this up because I enjoy the character of Mr. Freeze. Great self-contained story with wonderful artwork. Worth a read for anyone into the character.
