I honestly thought it was a slow start. A story about a side character we just met a few issues ago is suddenly the main one. However, the last two issues made me have a complete 180 about my opinion on this story. It's about personal struggles, masterfully written, with such a bittersweet ending to close it all off.

Even though Morpheus isn't the main character in this volume, it was still great to read and to see Barbie and some other new new characters. I really loved Wanda, and I enjoyed the ending even though it made me sad.
Spoiler
I am glad we got to see Wanda as herself along with Death, I think it was really sweet and nice to see. I'm gonna miss her.

A Game of You is proof Gaiman can write adult horror. It's a messed up mixture of fairy tales, childhood dreams, violence and family drama. And somehow in the end it all ties together with the main plot.

-3 stars.
morpheus doesn't feature prominently in this one, just a blip near the beginning, and again near the end. seems like this is more barbies story and not a sandman story.

-Collects The Sandman #32-37. unnecessary female nudity. if you're going to include bare tits and ass and crotch of women, then i want to see bare penises as well. fair is fair.

"all the members of oppressed groups - blacks, women, asians, gays, or what have you - have to be killed off at the end, no matter how good and noble they are, so that we can feel sorry for them, then forget about them."

"no matter how dull and boring people are on the outside, inside them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds."
