This book captivated me from the START. I just LOVE bree and archer. I love their angst and relationship. It was SO sweet. They both had trauma to work through- at first it made me uncomfortable kind of how much they started to depend on each other? But honestly it’s wrapped up beautifully at the end.

Also the way the author showcased archer’s anxiety, trauma and thoughts? OMG. It was done so well, i felt his every emotion and felt for him. My sweet archer. He deserves everything.

There were so many times I hugged my kindle because they’re so precious to me and even sobbed because of the emotions they made me feel 😭

What made me not give it 5 stars.. were all the sexual acts they were having. You could say it was part of them figuring out their relationship together and I didn’t really mind how it was described (bc honestly the author did such a good job).. it was just how much it was occurring? I thought it was alot in my opinion but their thoughts and emotions being described during the act(s) made up for it!

THEY BOTH HAVE MY HEART AND I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH. THEY ARE APART OF MY PERSONALITY NOW. My sweet babies. They deserve it all.

this book was a rollercoaster, like i was happy then sad then happy then sad and it was so stressful but so worth it because reading archer and brees relationship was incredible.
Spoilerthe only thing i did not like about the book was travis' redemption arc after he was a slimeball for like most of the book

You know what, maybe love is in the air. Because when I tell you that I inhaled this book, I mean I was on another plane of being. MY EMOTIONS!!!! I knew this was a love story, but God did I underestimate how much love would be packed into this story and how much it would affect me. Is it possible to feel loved by a book??

“Archer’s Voice” is a powerful, beautiful love story about trust, acceptance, and complex communication. I really liked how Mia Sheridan handled Archer’s ability to communicate without his voice. It struck a very strong note in me, as I work with many nonverbal individuals and know firsthand how much you don’t know until you learn to communicate using their language.

Because communication is not exclusively vocal. We all know body language makes up a good part of it, but words can also be shown in many different ways. Voice isn’t reserved just for sound that comes out of your mouth, that is spoken. Sometimes voice is sign language (featured in this book) or through a communication device or through writing on paper, reading lips, etc. Whichever it may be, that is your voice. And our sweet, incredibly misunderstood Archer’s voice shouldn’t have been so different from everyone in Pelion, Maine. If only they’d taken the time to listen with more than their ears and preconceived prejudices.

Until Bree shows up, and everything changes for Archer.  I fell headfirst into Archer and Bree’s tender, tentative love—how much they trusted each other and believed in one another, despite each of their own past trauma and current obstacles. It was first love and it never read so real to me. When love is right, it’s bigger than anything. (Note: LOTS AND LOTS OF SPICE in case you were wondering!)

I already wish I could read this again for the first time. LOVE is, in fact, the reason.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK.

Their love story was so pure and precious. Archer Hale is my favourite contemporary romance book bf now. He is so so so so so precious. I just want to hug him!!! Bree is so sweet and precious!!! UGHHHH I JUST LOVE THESE TWO SO MUCH!! I will protect them with everything I've got. I will not be accepting any criticism against this book.

There was no unnecessary conflict or misunderstanding. Every conflict was reasonable and understandable and was solved in a great way!!! it was very nice and refreshing.

This was a cute and unique romance. the beginning was amazing to me and the development of their friendship was my favorite part. however, there were some parts in this book that just had me rolling my eyes.
Spoiler like the part where there’s a weirdly stereotypical bullying scene between jocks and a nerd where the protagonist helps him?? it literally added nothing to the story and just made me so confused. also when archers dads wife somehow finds out about the protagonists life history and uses it to pull the guy to tried to rape her from her past to kill her????? like it felt so far fetched and stupid i did not understand how anyone could fully get past that.
also i kinda felt like the protagonist was kinda pushy. if not for that i could’ve enjoyed this so much more :/

I enjoyed this book and the fact it was quite different, the Hero being mute and all.
SpoilerSome parts were a little frustrating (the part where he couldn't live without her but then left for 3 months with no contact?)
The epilogue annoyed me with the "got married and had babies" but overall it was a nice story and I did smile a lot. I loved Archer and wish we'd had more from his POV.

I was NOT expecting to love this book as much as I did!! But what a pleasant, beautiful, heartbreaking surprise. I don't know if I've ever been more in love with two main characters. Their strength and love brought me so much joy. I thought I had predicted the biggest surprise, but I didn't expect there to be more than one.

I found this book on Bookstagram, and I feel it isn't one of the more popular recommendations. I kind of hope it stays that way so I can keep this little slice of perfection to myself a bit longer.

Perfectly spicy, endearing, heartbreaking, and inspiring all rolled into one glorious story. Bonus points for being the fourth book to ever make me cry.

P.S.
SpoilerVictoria Hale can fuck off and go straight to hell
