Writing review late - I remember thinking it was cute, fluffy, and festive! 🎄

Really funny, cute premise - but it’s hindered slightly by its drawn-out length, repetitiveness, and some scattered typos.

Still, it certainly put me in a festive spirit! Now to find myself some English sweets… and maybe some onion rings.

This book is so cute!! Telling a story about Eve who was excited to celebrate Christmas's with her boyfriend only to found out he's with another woman.. in the shower... at her apartment ... um? Eve who was broken-heart decided to help at Jeweller's store where she work try to get busy to forget her ex. Luckily, there is a crucial delivery problem which five gold rings destined for Christmas proposals and weddings have been sent to the wrong address. Thus, she and her colleague, Joe decided to deliver 5 rings to 5 different people.

This book might be the best Christmas's premise I ever read. I love the fact that our main character working at the Jewellery store and responsible to deliver the special rings at the special occasion. Imagine witnessing beautiful moment between the lovers, the sweet moment, how real and genuine their love is. Each of the character are varied by ages and stories (I love the story of the man that has lose his wife but are now willing to open up his heart for a new love).

I also love the dual pov! Sometimes, when we did get a dual pov in a romance book, its still portrayed the man as a 'cool character', sexy and always witnessing the female character's embarrassing moment. But here, Joe's character are so refreshing and funny. i did have secondhand embarrassment bcs of him. I love his genuine thought and unconditional love towards Eve. I love their friendship and the chemistry is chef kiss.

My only problem for this book is Eve's romantic feelings toward Joe. I love everything about the book, the pacing is perfect and the romance is so sweet if only the author took more time for Eve feelings to develop and confirm her 'moving on' from her ex. it was obvious she is still affected by her Ex (like she still crying over him). It is not easy to moving on from relationship especially being together for years. So this one kind of ruined the romance a bit.

But overall, this book is so fun, funny and chaotic. I love every bit of the 5 rings stories, I devoured the book less than a day (5 hours to be exact). Giving it 4 stars! ⭐️

Eve is a part time jewelry salesperson. She surprises her boyfriend by returning home early from work before Christmas. No one is more surprised than she is at what she discovers, however, and her heart is broken. She doesn't want to ruin her family's holiday with her sadness, so she volunteers to make five last minute ring deliveries before Christmas for her elderly employers.

What follows is a delightful romp by Kristen Bailey that was all I could hope for in a holiday romance.
Eve is joined in her task by fellow salesperson, Joe, who just happened to be moonlighting as a hot elf when he got the call. This book is laugh out loud humorous and poignant at the same time. It's the perfect blend of comedy and romance. Simply the most enjoyable start to your holiday romance season. 4.5⭐️

Thank you to Storm Publishing and NetGalley for this free ebook in exchange for my honest review.

This book has put me in my Christmas rom-com reading era. It was such a feel good book that had me smiling and feeling like I was watching a Hallmark Christmas movie. This was my first Christmas book of the year and now I am excited to read some more.

In this book we meet Eve and Joe. It's a he falls first (which I love) and a friends to lovers (which I also love) romance. They both work for a jewelry story and due to a mix up have to deliver 5 rings before Christmas. I loved reading about the various deliveries and the funny antics that ensue. I often found myself laughing out loud.

It is told in duel POV. There is no spice and it is a bit of a slow burn for the main characters to express their feelings, but it is such a fun and feel good story. I was totally rooting for Eve and Joe, even though Eve just got out of a 3 year relationship. I kept wondering how they would realize they BOTH had feelings for each other. It kept me intrigued and wanting to continue to read way past my bedtime.

I have never read anything by this author but would give her other books. a try. This book did have vocabulary I was unfamiliar with since the setting was in London, but it didn't affect my ability to love this book.

unfortunately this book didn’t live up to the expectations i had. at first, it was amazing and i really enjoyed reading it - but it got quite boring as the story wove on for some reason but i did enjoy the christmassy ness of it and the way the romance sort of developed from friendship.
