At times, I found myself confused about which sister’s POV I was reading because they were so similar. There were also a LOT of secondary characters and that got confusing at times, but I feel like that will improve as the series continues. Overall a mixed bag but I’ll read the next one!

What a thrilling ride!! This world sunk its teeth into me and didn’t let me go for a second. I enjoyed reading about all the different Orders and the Houses. The Heirs were hot and cold for me (when they weren’t bullying poor Tory and Darcy within an inch of their lives); they’re gonna need one hell of a redemption arc before they’re forgiven. I’m looking forward to more Professor Orion content, too.

Amazing story so far, I can't wait to start the next book in the series. The authors have done a great job at building this magical world and showing how the magic works. I NEED to find out what order Tory and Darcy belong to!!

Minor editing errors. Did not feel like I read 400+ pages, very easy read. Story is full of cliches. Characters are interesting enough! Same with the underlying mystery. Though it’s nothing special, average plot points imo. Looking forward to getting more than just Darcy & Tory’s perspectives

This was book kept me entertained and annoyed at the same time. I loved the magical aspects to it, and I liked discovering this new world along with the twins. What I didn’t like was that the main girls in this book kept lusting after the men who tormented them. People described this book as a bully/romance, but really they’re extremely abusive and it shouldn’t be romanticized.

I like this series so far only thing is it can be kinda hard to keep up with the character’s. I’m gonna start taking notes on the book to help.
