Okay so individually I enjoyed this book quite a bit. However it did not fit within the series. Yes the characters were the same and some of the storylines that were created in the first book and carried through are resolved. However the focus of this book was not on Suze mediating but instead on her and Paul’s ongoing fight over Jesse. Then it’s about how much her powers can really do to save her love life. This book is more of an exploration of the concept of Suzes abilities than it is of anything else. That is annoying because it felt like a totally separate book than the rest of the series. However it did resolve well enough.

Suze & Jesse deal with their worse complication yet, & they still come out on top! I LOVE this ending! It’s a perfect, glorious ending for the series! And the story used to end here, but I’m glad we have 2 more stories that take place when their older! Because even though it’s a perfect ending, you still can’t help wanting to read more about the character & I’m not ready to say goodbye!Â
Moderate: Death, Fire/Fire injury, Grief, and Violence
Minor: Sexism, Murder, and Gaslighting
