I throughly enjoyed reading this romance. This is my first book by the author but it certainly won’t be the last. It’s very well written, engaging with well developed characters pulling you in and hooking you instantly (I read it in one go).

Expect:
* Opposites attract
* Hurt comfort
* Age gap
* Mental health rep
* Great emotional storytelling with low drama
* Cam boy and P0rn veteran
* Meeting an idol
* High heat
* Found family

I loved both Sebastian and Christian and their chemistry is perfect.. off the charts hot with loads of feels! Sebastian who is strong, bursting with life and struggles with anxiety, strives for perfection and safety and Chris who is sweet and humble and a bit jaded and extremely supportive of Sebastian. This story also has some great supporting characters whom I look forward to seeing more of in future books.
I really appreciated the sensitive and raw depiction of severe anxiety attacks and the triggers and coping strategies employed by one the MCs. I would have loved to see some of the MC’s journey to a better management construct expressed more in the story itself, though I do appreciate the changes we see in the epilogue. I also appreciated the way burnout is described and the questioning and revalidating of those choices is woven into the story as time goes by.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Swoon: ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Angst: ❤️‍

Sebastian is a young entrepreneur. He is his own marketing team, sales team, social media team. He is a camboy and damn good at it. While checking out new gyms he spots his idol. A legend in the adult entertainment industry. A man that Sebastian has dreamed about and jo’d to for several years. A man that was the inspiration for him to start his own career in adult entertainment.

Christian, aka Chris Pine, has retired from the porn industry. He left without giving his reasons and there has been speculation. When Sebastian approaches him to do a collaboration, Christian is at first a strong no. But, he thinks about it more and decides he wants to dip his toe back in and see what happens. And, it’s not like filming with the sexy camboy is going to be a hardship.

Sebastian and Christian are amazing together. They are exactly what the other needs. Linden Bell is a talented writer and will make you fall in love with these men. I liked that mental health was incorporated with sensitivity and attention to detail. The story was easy to read.

Review:
This was a really cute and spicy read. I loved Sebastian, he is such a hard working, meticulous, clever person who deals with anxiety. He happens upon his inspiration for being a camboy, the retired porn star Christian, who is a PT at the gym Sebastian signs up to. Getting one free session with a PT as part of the gym membership, Sebastian chooses Christian, and after being prompted by his friends, tries to ask if he would be willing to collab. Christian is charmed by Sebastian, and as they fall together in front of the camera, their feelings for each other explode

I really enjoyed the anxiety rep in this book, talking about coping mechanisms and medication and showing that a lot of the time, there's not really a recipe to how an attack will start out what will trigger it. Christian is such an amazing person and I loved the love and care and gentleness and awe with which he treated Sebastian. And Sebastian is just the sweetest and hardest working person, he deserves everything. The chemistry and love between these two was so hot, I absolutely devoured this book. It felt like 50 pages and I would've happily read so much more about them. Given the nature of their work, this book was maybe slightly less smutty than I thought it was going to be. That's not to say there isn't scorching sex, but I guess I was perhaps thinking there might be more, but I was definitely not disappointed at all with what we got.

I love a good camboy book, and I enjoyed Sebastian and Christian's story. The last 35% had maybe a bit too much sex but then again it's a book about sex workers so I should've expected that lol

This was so good! I was expecting a pretty easy going smutty read and this was that - except it was also absolutely beautiful.
I loved the MCs together so much. I loved how the anxiety was written, I really felt what Sebastian was feeling and Christian looked after him so well. I thought this was fantastic representation of anxiety and also anxiety of someone with a lot of confidence.
Also the smut. This was a SPICY read, one of the spiciest I've read in a while I think! And they were goooood spices!
This was just so much better than I thought it would be, not that I thought it would be bad but it's a smutty book about camboys, but it literally has made me so happy and I cannot wait for book 2!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
