Such a good read! I enjoyed reading TRA as it was simple enough to help my brain switch off but engaging enough to help me escape into another world for a while. I read this series in my childhood and forgot most of the plot. I actually felt slightly afraid at some parts (when they were hiding from the wargals!). A great adventure written for children.

I appreciate the authors attention to detail, events aren’t just happening, they’re unfolding in front of our eyes as the characters observe their world. Our knowledge grows right along with theirs, we aren’t expected to just believe the characters can do or know something. We’re shown.
