Another great CC romance! Grae and Caden are truly *it* for each other and it's so sweet to see them get their well-deserved happy end!
We see a lot of Grae learning to stand up for herself towards her parents and brothers and forcing them to realize that just because she's the youngest and she's chronically ill, that doesn't mean she's unable to care for herself. Love that for her!! Women with chronic illnesses can still have their fun and especially some sexy boyfriends ðŸ¤
The suspense here felt much more small-town focused than it did in other books (if that makes sense??) but I really loved how it was done, the arson adds a different touch. I had my suspicions from the start and in the end I was right (😌) but just like the characters I managed to get wrapped up in other theories — always kept on my toes with these books!
Seeing Caden and his mum be fully accepted into the Hartley family was such a sweet thread throughout the book and so so adorable in the end.
Counting down the days till the next part! So excited 🥳
