Soooo boring. A tedious story. So many words for so little plot.

I had to read this for school and it was terrible. 100% recommend…. if you like being in pain while reading. (the only reason I didn’t do 1 ⭐️ was because of some good quotes)

The book really reminded me of the first book in the series of The Leatherstocking Tales, I found several similarities, but putting that aside the story in this one is good.
Once again it was difficult for me to follow the events, because the characters were expressing themselves not in a very straight forward language.
Other than that, the ending is rather gloomy.

Whew -- if you can get through the slog of way-y-y-y too much description and padding, there's actually a high-stakes story going on here with scary action!
