Lighthearted and cheeky, this is the Finnish answer to Lagom and Hygge. Don't forget your wooly socks.

Päntsdrunk shares with yoj everything you have wanted to know, but been too afraid to ask, about Finnish relaxation method and our own version of Danish hygge and Swedish lagom. Perfect quick read for any expats in Finland or fans of Finnish culture - for a Finn, the book was a pleasant quick read that describes a well-known phenomena in observant way. Could give this as a gift for a foreign friend that moved in Finland.

It came across like a serious idea that took itself too seriously, yet at the same time admitted as such and so it came across as a wee bit tongue in cheek.

In a nutshell, this is a form of unplugging, of getting away from the stress of life, of taking a moment to recharge. I love the fact that it stresses moderation. It embraces the drinking of beer and eating of junk food, but says that if your night of pantsdrunk disrupts your next day, you're doing it wrong.

WIth lots of pictures, a bunch of testimonials, and a few lists, it was a very quick read.

My mummo keeps this in her guest bathroom next to some ceramic Moomins. Finn approved.

This was not as funny as it wanted to be nor as informative as I hoped it would be.

I liked it, but it could have easily been 40 pages instead of 170

Quick and easy read on the luxury of sitting at home doing whatever you want, such as drinking at home in your underwear.
