This was a solid intro to the world of Demi Humans, it was dark, gory and violent. All things I love, of course.

This manga is an interesting take on how society views things they don't understand, in this case immortals. To the "normal humans" it's okay to capture these Demi-humans, as they're called, and perform horrendous scientific experiments on them.
Kei is seemingly a normal high school student, that is until he gets hit by a truck...and comes back to life. Now he's on the run from bounty hunters and worse, trying to understand his new found power,
This was a good first volume. The story was interesting, though confusing, but it's still setting up for what's to come. I love the art style. Vertical also did a fantastic job with the presentation of the manga. It's a little smaller than the average size of manga in America. This resembles it's original format more closely. The quality of the pages are also much better than that of Viz Media. I definitely want to buy more manga from Vertical.
If you like Sci-fi thrillers and mysteries, I'd check this manga out. It is quite good.
