literally 5 stars.

out of the first 3 lily and lo books this one has to be my favorite. i’m not gonna lie it was 541 pages but i did indeed eat up all 541 pages.

book three was honestly just impeccable. in this book literally EVERYTHING happens. not to mention it’s a double pov between lily and lo. guess who ate that up? ME.

omg and in this book we truly get to watch the core 6 unfold. i literally don’t want to spoil anything so i have to keep this short but i def cried the last chapter.

i love lily and lo<3

This book is my second favorite in the series so far. It focused more on how Loren and Lily had to help each other so they could each overcome their addictions. In Lo's case, he had to adjust to his not drinking, while Lily had to overcome her own addiction. There was also a sub-plot that I enjoyed, even if it was horrible for the characters. This book focused more on Lo's relationships with his family. And I quite enjoyed it. It showed the complex and toxic relationship he has with his dad, as well as the relationship he's building with Ryke. But this book was quite hard to read at times. It was, dare I say, darker than the others. It deals with sexual assault, blackmailing, substance abuse, child abuse, neglect, abandonment. It was dark. But so, so good.
