Lo is freshly back from rehab, we get to experience him sober. I really liked seeing Lo and Ryke’s dynamic this book because Ryke is dead set on keeping him sober, he will stop at nothing to make sure he succeeds.
Meanwhile with Lo back Lily now has to put her restraining from sex to practice when he’s right there in front of her. I loved Lily’s therapist Dr. Banning, that woman got it and was just so supportive and understanding, she wasn’t trying to fix Lily she was trying to help her learn why she reacts to sex the way she does and teach her moderation and healthy ways to approach it and she encouraged Lo’s participation (unlike that fuckwad her parents have her go to, lock him the fuck up).
We also had some blackmail going on this book. Someone was threatening to reveal Lily’s sex addiction to the press which was wild and just so wrong. Lily and Lo have so much already going on and then to add that stress on top, it was just a lot. I’m really proud of them though for handling it as well as they did.
There was also some good Connor scenes this book and well as some Rose and Daisy.

I truly do not know what Krista and Becca put in these books, but these characters have my heart and soul completely. But oh my gosh a crazy journey and I know it’s just beginning. I’m scared but also excited to continue on with these 6. Even if they make me cry as much as they make me laugh.

He is as much a part of me as the sun is a part of the sky, as the Earth is to the universe.
when i saw that this book was almost twice as long as the previous two, i got nervous bc sometimes authors ruin their own books with too much ambition and filler. however, this one did not disappoint.
lily and lo reunite after his stint in rehab, but can she handle her greatest temptation?
i loved watching them overcoming obstacles together, and i think the ritchie sisters handled writing addiction and the therapy around it with tact and sensitivity. i'm rooting for these two so hard and even with their challenges this book, i'm seeing them hit couple goals status and i love it 🥰 (
“Sometimes the person we think we’ll become is the person we already are, and the person we truly become is the person we least expect.”
connor and rose are just the best in this as well. connor again stealing scenes with his witty quips, but also seeing him break down rose's walls is so satisfying and romantic. rose is such a supportive, amazing sister to lily in this book, we love to see book sisters like this 🩵 i'm also getting really excited for daisy and ryke's story!
while this book had me STRESSING for them, on the edge of my seat, sometimes ready to FIGHT (dr. evan it's on SIGHT), it was such a satisfying roller coaster. this series is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
She is my past, my present, my future. So when I open the door and slide into the driver’s seat, I’m not surprised that it feels like I’m returning home.

Alright, so, I feel like this book was really important for ALL the characters development. We saw them go through all types of things and how being sober from their addiction changed Lily and Lo's life compared to "Addicted To You"(book1). I had my suspicions about the leaker but never would've I had connected who it actually was. Maybe I should have had my suspicions when Jonathan refused to say the name but beat me, he hasn't been the most trustworthy character in the series. I was honestly really suspicious about Allison, Lily's therapist, but now I'm really happy she's back to her.. especially after what that fcker ,Dr Evans(?), tried to do to her. I thought they would show us a much more cruel reality when it comes to the press and Lily's addiction but we still have 2 books and the end of their deal with their parents sooo..yeah.
AND BRIAN, LOREN'S THERAPIST, I LOVE HIM. Like, we literally only had one scene with him but I hope we see more of them.
As for the relationships, I can feel the bond between Loren and Connor and Connor and Lily grows stronger. The next book is gonna be his, so I hope we get more of them. I loved the improvement of Lo and Rose relationship and how he defends her.
During their trip they depicted well, what Lo missed cuz he was drunk or in rehab, which I didn't expect. One thing about that trip that I liked was how Lo was the only one weirded out by Daisy and Rike. I don't really care about them and I find Lily's reaction to them funny but it's not like it's normal. Not for the age gap but only cuz despite being more mature than others she's still sixteen.
Another thing I loved was the development of Rike and Lo's bond. Especially that ending chapter after discovering the leaker identity 🥹.
Honestly I was planning on giving a lower rating cuz it took me a while to get through the first 50/60% of the book but I really liked the rest. It wasn't a 4 star but neither a 3 so, I think 3.5 fits it.
