http://nhw.livejournal.com/1031032.html#cutid2[return][return]The original TV version was one of the most surreal stories ever; the novel takes some liberties with the script, but basically improves it further to make it one of the better Second Doctor novels. Even the Karkus somehow makes better sense here. One to look out for.

Overly long with some slow scenes but overall enjoyable to listen to this novelisation of the early classic Who episode.

The second Doctor, Jaime, and Zoe find themselves in the Nothing outside of time and space. Where strange things are happening; despite it being "Nothing". White robots, storybook characters, and a grand brain with a Master puppet controlling them all with a devious end-game in mind.

It's a long serial of episodes and at times tedious to listen to but the ideas are mostly fun and it makes for good listening on a long trip.
