Alles, was ich weiß über die Liebe by Dolly Alderton

Dolly manages to be both relatable and not. She starts off describing a relentlessly almost self-destructive chase for hedonistic distractions, paving the way for revelatory insights in her journey to self-realization. Appreciated her entertaining and pretty insightful takes on age-old realizations such as the importance of her relationships with her friends and the pain of coming to terms with growing old.

I wanted to love this book, I really did. Picked it up because I needed some big sister advice but it just fell a bit flat. Quick and light read which I was thankful for but some of the writing was horrific, especially with the low key condescending tone of some messages. The stupidest part imo were the recipes and emails. They were tedious and so out of place and gave off Tupi lair vibes in the worst way.

Hilarious, heartwarming, refreshingly feminist, a bible for love obsessed young women.
