For suspense-crime-thriller fans of Gillian Flynn and Paula Hawkins.
When Bridget catches a late train home, she winesses a child being kidnapped. No one else witnesses the crime, and when reported, the police don't believe her.
Night after night Bridget dreams of the little girl. Bridget soon takes matters into her own hands and digs up information that shows there's a child kidnapping ring.
But who's to believe a new mother who is sleep deprived on antidepressants that hallucinations as a side effect?
Slow to start off and predictable ending once Bridget starts researching, but has a great twist of a twist of a twist before you reach the end. This was an easy read that kept me turning the pages, though it was definitely a rollercoaster ride when it comes to Alison.
