I felt like a lot of the content was included merely for shock value. I didnât appreciate the liberal use of the R slur or the misogynistic language. It seemed like sexual assault was thrown around for entertainment which always strikes me as lazy writing. I found it difficult to like many of the characters. Itâs a relatively short series and I felt like some of the characters would have grown on me if theyâd had more time to develop. Itâs difficult to understand what motivates some of the character because they appear so briefly. You never really get the sense that the Lockes are a team or that they are close as a family, so Dodgeâs ultimate motivation made little sense to me. Horror isnât my genre so take what I say with a grain of salt if youâre a fan. I was turned off by the brutality of the world. I doubt Iâll revisit the series.Â

What a great finale. It really tied the series up nicely while retaining all of it's creepy, gory elements. I definitely couldn't put it down until I found out how it all ended. This entire series was pretty fantastic. It kept me intrigued the whole time and constantly guessing what would happen next. I wouldn't go into this series lightly though, it's definitely in the horror/gore genre. Read with care!
