Only worth reading because of Glass Canon and The Battle of Candle Arc.
The other stories and the author comments (you can buy bad (maybe erotic) short stories if you want) somehow made the trilogy worse.

This one was slow going since it was a collection of short stories. And really my rating mostly reflects the last story in the collection as the shorter ones kind of just felt like what I had to get through to get to it.

If you've read the Ninefox Gambit trilogy definitely read the last story here as it's the extended ending!

The short stories before the extended ending were fun and all but definitely just felt like Lee's fanfic about his own world that he published on Tumblr. It's nice authors have all these bits in their head but I didn't feel like it really added much to the characters and world I already knew. Which was why this was such a slow slog for me.

Most authors seem to keep their trilogies tight, ensuring that the only canon content set in that universe belongs to their original three books. This broke the mold - I loved getting to explore the universe of the main trilogy without the pressure of having to follow the overarching plot. I enjoyed getting to see my favorite characters in scenes and situations that wouldn't have been relevant to the main story, but that are nonetheless entertaining.
