I really enjoyed the humor and quirky banter in this book. The end is not something I'm a fan of, not because I didn't like it but because I was not expecting a cliffhanger at all. I don't think the book should have been extended that long. I will however read book 2, SOAKED, just 'cause I want to get into West's head.

Read this as part of the Beach Bag series so I didn't know that it would end in cliffhanger, so I'm not happy about that. I liked the story and definitely liked the smart ass remarks from West. However, Sadie got on my nerves a bit and I sure didn't like the part of her drinking and driving while she was out looking for West. At this point I'm not interested in reading the second book but I'm sure I would something else by this author in the future.

Wow! There is NO way this is the first book from Stacy! I'm completely blown away! I knew as soon as I finished the prologue that Wet was going to be a book I wouldn't be able to put down until I finished it. And I was right. Poor Sadie was completely blindsided when she found out that the guy she had been with for years and years had been messing around with her behind her back...with her assistant, no less. After destroying his precious electronics, she packed her bags and set off for her best friend Rue, on the Carolina coast. Sadie decides to approach men differently from here on out, copying her friend Rue, who only hooks up with tourists, that way she can have her fun and never see the guy again. Her plan seems to be foiled when she keeps seeming to need to be rescued all the time and West seems to be the one to do the rescuing. Unfortunately, West is a local. And what a local he is!! Despite hardening her heart, Sadie seems to be falling for West. West, who doesn't do girlfriends. West, who seems to be treating her like a girlfriend. But what exactly is going on between West and Aubrey? I'm so happy the next book is already out (Soaked) so I can find out what happens next!! I would give this books more than five stars if I could...it had everything I love in a book...humor, angst, and some steamy scenes! Loved it!!!!

Okay, so I won these from the author in a Facebook giveaway a while back. They’ve been sitting on my TBR shelves for a while, and now that I have all this extra time, I decided it was time to read them. And let me tell you, I could not put them down! I first found this author through a blog tour for the audiobook of Drumline, which I adored! And as usual, I immediately searched to find her on Facebook and other social media so I could tell her how much I enjoyed her book. Of course that led to me entering into a giveaway and winning these two. Now the first book ended on a cliffhanger, which I didn’t realize, I assumed maybe book two was just going to be her friend’s book. So when I got to the end of book one I had to immediately pick up the sequel and dive back in!

Book one is Wet and we really got to know our characters in this. We got the background for Sadie, and it made sense why she was so cautious and only open to casual. But then West came in, and wow, West was a hottie, and funny as well! But he was off limits to Sadie based on what her friend Rue’s rules for hooking up were, and at first Sadie totally agreed with what she’d dealt with. Things seemed to fall in place for the both of them though, even with some bumps thrown at them by a girl he grew up with. All of it was really steamy and sweet and then, the ending! Whoa!

I always like finding new authors, when I can find one that writes well, I get excited. Wet was a fun, flirty and sexy read. West is everything you’re looking for in a book boyfriend: hot and arrogant with a sweet side. I loved the banter and chemistry between him and Sadie, the heroine. You can definitely see their chemistry burn up the pages. The characters are pretty developed. I wish more had happened with the ex-boyfriend (maybe that’ll happen in the next book) and the side characters are hilarious though Rue was underutilized and I wanted more of her. It has decent pace and the story-line while familiar, is written well and in a way that it isn’t stale. I enjoyed reading Wet, it’s a great light read when you need a little escapism and I’ll probably read the next just to see how West and Sadie’s story continues but I won’t be pre-ordering it.

Really cute story. Love that lies and half-truths play a big theme, which eventually have to come out. Definitely going to read what happens next.

This story flowed really well and had likable characters. I haven't finished this couple and can't wait for more from some of the others.
Rue kinda sucks at best friend duty but I'll give her a temp pass because of her own issues.
I love Theo and he makes up for best friend duty quite well.
My only thing is the trust she keeps handing out like candy.... Fool me once and all.
All around a great book that I am quite looking forward to the sequel for.

I annoyed with myself for not realizing that this was a series that followed the same character throughout the series. This book was well written, and not as bad as other books I've read in this genre. I might have to try the next book.
