Kirsty Savidge, and her team are tasked with investigating the brutal murder of Avril Webb. The killer is forensically aware and leaves behind no clues.

During the investigation more deaths come to light but they seem to be accidents. Kirsty convinced there’s a connection tries to link the cases together. Can Kirsty stop the killer before they claim any more victims?

This was a solid police procedural that really focused on the process of a murder investigation.
I really liked Kirsty. She’s clever, intuitive and doesn’t take any nonsense from anyone especially her immediate superior Chief Superintendent Alison Fry who seem to butt heads at every opportunity.

It’s not exactly the most fast paced, in fact there were times when it was a little slow and my attention waned a bit but of course that’s just my opinion.

I’d recommend for anyone who enjoys a British police procedural with a strong female lead character.
