This volume was…fine. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t terrible. I can never truly hate a Hanako volume, but this one just didn’t do much for me.

I do have to say that I like No. 6 character design! It’s pretty and creepy. Definitely fits the vibe.

I also enjoyed the part where Aoi totally outs Yashiro’s feelings for Hanako, and then Yashiro has to downplay it 😂 That was fun.

That’s pretty much it tbh

I really enjoy this new even more mysterious arc so far, and it having a Halloween arc at this time fits perfectly, I love it going to a bit more of an action mystery arc for a bit, hope it gets amazing.

At first I was uncertain how I would like this volume but I actually loved the development between Aoi, Akane, and the rest of the characters. I'm curious where it will go from here! Also let it be known every volume has made me laugh at some point and I think that's why I love this series so much. It's serious and full of adventure/mystery but it also has romance and knows when to pull back when things get a little too dark.
