That was.. the most bizarre manga I have read in my life.
So, I woke up really early this am with a bad headache. I didn't feel like being productive but I did want to wait for my pain meds to kick in. I picked up this manga and decided to give it a try.
I will not be continuing.
Although the general premise was interesting, I love the concepts presented but not the execution, and the art style is fun I had some MAJOR issues with this(!)
1) Female lead character name is Easy. WTH?!
2) Female lead is an ancient but has a middle grade girls body and is oogled.
3) Male lead female bff is fondled by female lead. Yeah and told that she is a little too well endowed for an Asian as her breasts are grabbed and...
4) There is an upskirt shot (!?) that was very uncomfortable again due to the fondling and fact that she is a middle school girl!!
5) References to: Rape, torture, and HIGHLY disturbing torture threats mingled together with the rape and I.Am.Done.With.This.Trash.
The only reason why this gets two stars from me and wasn't DNFd were its two redeeming qualities previously mentioned:
1) Premise was intriguing.
2) Art style.
The fact that everyone all spoke the same language even though they were different nationalities was at least explained at the end and that counted for something, even though the "explanation" was a ridiculous toss off.
The "ending" comic panels also featured (alternate cover art perhaps?) a picture of the male leads bff with a cat (yes the animal) clawing at the nipples of the girl.
