An easy, quick-to-read romance. When I say fast-paced, this is the definition of fast-paced, so just be prepared for that and abandon some expectations 😉Â
Mazey & Rylan's latest relationships have both gone terribly and especially Mazey is very reluctant to start another one but in the end, they can't really help themselves.
It is all very insta-lovey but still enjoyable.Â
I couldn't really get behind Rylan's actions sometimes — he promises one thing and does something else and that kinda put me off his character. There were also a lot of repetitive passages and at the start, a lot of character traits just seem easily forgotten.
I didn't see the twist at the end coming but it was handled well and worked for the characters.
Despite its faults, I'm excited to read the sequel and other books in the universe.
