Rhiannon was running from the sheva bond. She was always looking over her shoulder, waiting for her soul mate, Jose. On her journey back to the jungle to try to kill Jose and sever the sheva bond, she meets Zach. Zach is also looking for Jose. He needs the staff Jose carries to heal his friend and another.
WOW! This book is full of action! Their adventure takes them on a death defying journey full of discovery with emotional ups and downs. There are moments of extreme violence and sexual depravity. This is book nine in The Order of the Blade Series. This is the first book I've read in this series and I loved it! I can't wait to go back and start reading from book one. I could almost say this could be read as a stand alone but I have many questions about the Order and some of the characters.
