I think this was even better than the first, which is rare in trilogies. Less steam with more action-filled plot, but still firmly in hyper spice territory. Definitely will be reading the third book.

The first book in the series was good. Had some dark themes but nothing too crazy. This book was way too messed up. I don’t know how this has such high ratings when the whole book is about kidnapping, torture, rape, and mutilation.

Back into Rebecca F Kenney's wonderful fae world. This time around we get to see more of her amazing world through the unseelie court and meeting new and quirky characters.

I love how the world builds slowly in each story and how different each character feels from one another. It makes me excited to see what else we will learn with the series, and who we will see return. With new characters being introduced, reoccurring characters still get their chance in the light with some great character development that just make them feel alive.

I cannot wait to see what else there is to discover in this world and who's stories are yet to be told. With fun and quirky characters and landscapes that change as the characters travel, you don't want to miss out.
