I liked the structure of the poems but as I have read his 2nd book "the dark between stars" some poems are duplicates which is weird because, why add the poem? but all in all it was a nice.

Another great collection by Atticus.

There were a lot of classics in this one and I marked a lot. I only cried on one but I would love to reread this when I have someone to love because I know it would make me feel things.

These collections are always really gorgeously packaged. The poetry, though, is always so-so for me. I definitely liked the “Wild” section the best.

There is nothing quite so pure in love as a boy and a girl building castles in the clouds.

As he took her hand he gave her all she had been waiting for— a shiver down her spine.

You and I will be lost and found a thousand times along this cobbled road of us.

She didn’t want love, she wanted to be loved— and that was entirely different.

It was her chaos that made her beautiful.

This style of poetry isn’t for everybody but I liked this a lot. Each one is reflective in some way and it was exactly what I was looking for.
