Was I unsure if I was going to vibe with the plot, but oh my god did I. I tore through this novel and loved it. There were times where I didn’t love the direction of the plot, but overall a great book.

Yikes. I wanted to like this book because sexy gay romance. But I could not get past the bad decision-making (which, to be fair, was indicated by the title). But everything Erin did after the initial hookup in the bar was cringy, manipulative, and a tad predatory. There were some cute moments, and the friendship between the college students was sweet, but I couldn't get past the ick factor. If Parker's DAD did any of this to or with his daughter's friend, this would be such a creepy book. Maybe I'm just not getting the MILF fantasy, maybe being a few years older than Erin vs reading from the perspective of a younger person made me take it too seriously but...yikes.
