This was a very good pastiche of the original Sherlock Holmes books. The tone and language was a solid nod to the original.

The pacing was slow and the plot was a bit of a mishmash between two sundry occurrences/mysteries. As separate stories, they were both good. But combined together, it was a bit of an awkward fit that didn't really mesh.

A very solid reproduction of the original Sherlock Holmes books with a nod to the Christmas season.

It's very fast paced at the beginning and promises to be a very exciting story.
I drags in the middle and I found the Adler part a bit slow.
It's entertaining but not my favorite.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine
