It's been a long time since I read this book (I feel like I saw it on Cee's Twitter right around when it came out), so I re-read it recently to give it a more objective review. Poetry typically isn't my thing, however I found the book's short poems to tell quite the story. My personal favorite poems within the book were "Poison" and "The Yellow Staircase", as both created strong imagery as I read through them. If poetry is your thing, I'd definitely give it a read.
