I am so glad that I got on the ARC team for this book! Not my usual story choice but once I started I couldn’t put it down. Loved the well woven dynamics of the relationship between Ginerva, Liam, Rian and Cormac. After an arranged marriage gets upset by her sisters unexpected pregnancy, Ginerva is forced back into a life she fled from ten years prior. She’s the true definition of a strong female lead. Each of the men stood out on their own with their strengths and personalities. The support between the characters and that ending make me so excited for the next one. This book blew me away. Not only is the writing amazing with a great story, it has an interracial relationship (which I LOVE) and is a reverse harem told in the best way. I can not wait for more!

This story had me in a strong hold from the beginning Ginevra comes back home from 10 years away to save her sister from an arranged marriage after she calls and let’s her know she’s pregnant. It’s then she agrees to take her place in a poly arrangement with Rian, Liam, and Cormac. They push her out of her comfort zone and she comes to realize she actually really enjoys the things they do to her. Of course her past comes back to haunt her 10 years prior she killed a boy who had her kidnapped and sold. His father came back for payback and had her kidnapped. She was held for two days and tortured and once she was back with her guys and on the mend she decided she couldn’t stay with them and risk being captured again. So she goes back to California and is miserable without her men. Thankfully they decide they need to make some changes to get their girl and come and get her back.

There’s no gentle introduction found here for this amazing debut author. Rather than get you used to the harsh ‘realities’ of mafia/mob life you are thrown right into it. Hot and steamy , heavy on the degradation kink with a side of praise

Freaking awesome book! I understand this is the author’s first book and I could not put it down!
Ginevra comes home ten years later to help her sister with an arranged marriage. After walking away (more like running) from her family to build a new life on her own and try to heal from a traumatic incidence that happened 12 years before, she reluctantly comes back to the world she hoped to never see again. She’s a strong independent woman and definitely does not fit the mold of a “good” mafia daughter and potential wife. Something her father needs now to marry off to the head of the Irish mob. The men are your typical Alpha males but have established a family within themselves and only see this arranged marriage as a business deal until Ginevra steps in to take her sisters place. Then all bets are off…let the mind and sex games begin! And have I mentioned these guys are hot as sin???
