She's back!

It's been awhile, but I feel like she's writing like she did in the beginning, and I'm here for it and loved it!

an ok read

These last couple of books feel like Hamilton is responding to fan criticism more than telling a story. They feel kind of clumsy and inauthentic. This one feels like an attempt to bring Anita back to her roots. Its not a bad read... But it feels a little out of place with where the series has gone.

I did finish it but since I skimmed the section about they breaking Antia free. I am calling it a dnf.

Disappointed I didn’t remember why I stopped reading this series…
It lacks a lot. No slaying in this book.

Skim, Skim, Skim, Skim, Done.

I wasn't getting dragged down into the depths of rehash hell with every other page, so I skimmed until I got to something interesting. Dialogue, action, something other than what I already knew.

Plotholes, but some good. Not the worst, not the best, but it was good.

Loved every minute of the book! This book had me staying up until 2 AM when my alarm was going to go off at 7 AM. No regrets! I just couldn't stop. Loved the family drama as much as the issue with bad guy, Diemos. Loved Edward and even Olaf (begrudgingly so!)

I started the series, maybe 14 months ago, so I've not been able to enjoy it as long as some. I'm looking forward to 31. Already started a re-read from the beginning a few days before this release.
