I. Loved. This. Book. I was really surprised at the format when I started it — I didn’t think I’d like it all being written in letters — but it was one of the most clever, tender, delightful stories I’ve read.
While I wish we would’ve gotten more of Alex and Rosie together forever, what a treat it was to watch their relationship play out throughout their lives.

I adored this book. I couldn’t put it down. Every time I thought I knew what would happen next, I was wrong. The characters are beautifully written and you will wish they were real people in your own life. It’s romantic and complicated and filled with love - between friends, between parents and children, grandparents and their sprawling family, between a woman and her career, between time and the future that lies ahead. If you liked PS I Love You, you will love this. I am still teary eyed and wishing I could swim in this Irish Sea of a story for just a little longer. This book is for the soft hearted romantic and the cynic that wants to believe. Cecilia Ahearn is excellent at what she does. Go read this book!

I really enjoyed this book, I loved the set up of it being a series of emails and letters backwards and forward between the cast of characters over the space of many years, for the most part the characters were very lovable, and the ending was very satisfying. It was a very emotional and reflective story, with a very sweet and cute representation of love of all kinds; friendships, romance and family. Loved it.
